Well, Rodeo is a "welcome" addition to the Pineview Trail network. If you"re looking for a physically challenging, technical, uphill, rocky trail then Rodeo is for you. Okay, the "warmup" upper section does little to prepare you for the "climbing" section. Once you have "worked" your way through the the rocky sections and start the main decent the riding returns to more typical, well built Pineview downhill with a number of rock drop features, steep sidehill and well defined switchbacks. This is a trail that you will have to come back to as you session out various sections until you can clean the full ride. I suspect that there will be a number of access variations to change the flow and nature of the trail.

Very freshly built. Some interesting features for sure. Highly technical. The lower rocky sections (exposed bumpy ledge) I think are more danger that they are worth for the challenge. Upper part better. The steep rock rollover need a branch trimmed before someone gets a neck injury.

I bet this one will net a few fractured collarbones this summer.

Awesome technical challenging trail. I'm a tall rider and I physically cannot fit over the rock rollover without getting that branch in the face. Riding this trail clean is an impressive achievement.

tons of fun, first half is tight technical lots of short steep little uphill skill testers with loose rock, if your expecting a down hill run, first you have to earn it . you will burn more calories on the first half of this run then the climb from pineview. But if you like a skill test this is awesome.
