Multi use trail frequently used by day hikers to access Round Mountain viewpoints. Trail starts out with a heavy ascent straight from the parking lot and gradually tapers to manageable for quite some time through the trees. 3/4 mile up (halfway) the trail busts out into fresh new growth with towering old burn still standing, quite a view over the valley nearly all the way to the Nason Ridge intersection. If you plan this ride in the early summer, there WILL BE mosquitos, you've been warned, plan accordingly.

This route is 80+% hike-a-bike on the ascent for mere mortals, but is a very fun, but loose, descent - really not much of a bike trail though, hardly worth the effort IMO, but the views are impressive.
