Leaving the parking lot, you will hit a short downhill to the river. It's a very technical crossing on bike. Doable, but not for the faint of heart as an over the bar situation will start your ride off in a 2 foot deep pool of flowing water. The trail then proceeds up a short hill, where it flows fairly flat, but rocky until it crosses a narrow wooden bridge. Then for the next 250 feet you will climb a very punchy, technical, steep, and off camber climb. At the top of the short climb, you will come to the big rock and junction right after where the trail turns into "Swampy" or a right can be taken to climb up "orange crush"
