A moderately hard hike. The first 2 miles is easy with shallow gradient. Once you pass the second bridge, the trail becomes a bit steeper and rockier. The steepest part is the last 0.3 miles, which is fairly steep and rocky with a couple of nice scrambles, nothing crazy though. The fire tower at the top allows for a 360 view of the area and the High Peaks. Expect to do this trail (out and back) in 3 or so hours.

The mud pit between hills is particularly nasty right now. The rest of the trail is variable. There are a few trees down.

Trail was mostly dry. However there were a few pretty wet patches in places. The steeper parts of this trail are just asking to be wet and eroded...

This time of year is always iffy. This trail WILL be wet and muddy after a storm. Theres a couple trees down but all of them are easy to step over.
