Cruisy, low grade XC trail that can be ridden either direction. West entrance is from the kiosk by taking the old 'Trail to Nowhere' and has a punchy armoured climb before you get onto the true Salamander, but if you can clean that, it's smooth sailing. Climbing from the East has some short climbs to push and you'll need to watch for downhill traffic. It may be one of the few trails ever built that climbs in both directions Intent was to get bike traffic off Bridle Path.
