This is the historical Sawpit Creek trail which goes through Sawpit Meadows down to Napias Creek. The trail has not been maintained in many years and there are hundreds of down trees and erosion occurring also. There are numerous creek crossings and wet areas. The trail is blazed with standard Forest Service trail blazes. The trail is basically un-rideable in its current condition without major saw work.

Access Info

Upper access is off the Ridge road at the Jesse Creek Junction. A wood sign on two posts stating Sawpit Trail was present in 2019. The lower end junctions with the Napias Creek Trail in a unmarked junction. Have to look for the blazes with the help of the GPS track.

This trail is unsanctioned, use at your own risk!
