Short connector trail from Whyte Lake parking lot to Seaview trail, part of the Trans Canada trail. Simple, graded trail with stairs and a (slippery) boardwalk near the bottom. Naturally a green but throw some corner drifts and small jumps in there and you can make it a pretty fun descent.

Access Info

can walk up from seaview trail then ride down or you can ride down from the whytelake parking lot.

This isnt biking primary. Its actually the TransCanada trail so it's named incorrectly as well.
Don't go down this unless you need to go to Horseshoe Bay or live at the bottom of it. Be careful when your going down because there are always hikers on this.

More of a blue.... its a black if there are hikers on it and you don't plan on yielding.

Ya what giantbird has said is true, whoever put this trail on the map:
a) doesn't know the local trails well and so has mislabeled it
b) is trying to make the trail sound more legit than it is by noting non-existent trail features (I'll give him there is a boardwalk with steps)
c) hasn't experienced an actual trail yet because this 'black diamond' is literally a 5' wide gravel strip which is equivalent to fromme's fire road and y'don't hear of people raving about how sick fire roads are to descend on.

This ain't no trail, it's a path.

Those past two comments referred to the previous trail description. Now the description is much more accurate.
