Due to the roots and multiple sudden changes in elevation, as well as narrow width throughout, this loop is quite difficult. There's also quite a bit of rock in certain areas. I would suggest a counter-clockwise direction, or better yet, don't ride it at all.

This trail is awesome. It’s challenging for sure and if you’re not good at navigating mildly technical trails or you’re lacking in the cardio department this may not be the trail for you. If you’re in the area and want to sample some quality single track in middle Ga this is the place.

This is an awesome trail that has a little bit of everything packed in. Quick descents and exhausting back to back to back climbs with roots that only exist to kill your momentum. This is a challenging trail and not for the casual rider. Loose rocks and lots of roots. This is definitely the most challenging course in the central Georgia area. Be prepared to hike a bike on some of the steep climbs. I would recommend for the serious riders that enjoys technical and narrow trails. The trail is beautiful with the mountain like landscape, creek crossings, rock gardens, and lake views .

This is a black not because of precarious drop-offs or mandatory over-boulder negotiation, but rather because there is serious climbing to deal with, often. It is advised to walk this single track trail before attempting to ride, so you know what you are getting into. Also lots of significant roots and rock gardens. That said, this place is beautiful.
