Starting in the upper reaches of 5 Mile near the trailhead for Tinfoil Hat and Andreas' Downhill, this southbound trail traverses a very nice bench land with several small creek crossings and some lovely mixed forests. The trail ends at the Packsaddle Creek parking area.

Access Info

Travel down 5th Ave through downtown Valemount and cross the railway tracks, then immediately turn right and follow Main St for 150m and then turn left onto Hillside Drive Travel up Hillside for 1 km to the 5-Mile Hill Road which forks to the right. Follow 5-Mile Hill Rd for 2.3 km to a small parking area and watch for the trailhead sign which is on your right.

 I rode this trail on Friday August 11th, 2017 and it was in terrible condition. It was so overgrown that we had to walk/bush wack with our bikes approximately half the trail. It needs some serious work or should be decommissioned. I advise you not to do this trail.
