Great route for Ebikes The route is marked on brown carsonite markers with a "7R".
The eastern side of the loop along Seven Mile Rim is primarily on sandstone and more technical than the rest of the route. Look for signs for a short detour option to Uranium Arch. This eastern side of the Seven Mile Rim is also suitable for mountain bikes as there is little sand present.
The Southern part of this loop is along the stunning Monitor and Merrimac Buttes and is primarily on sandstone.
The Western side of the loop takes you past Determination towers and into Tusher Wash. This stretch is very beautiful however can be very sandy during the driest parts of the year. MTBs not recommended here.
The area is popular for OHV use, however the 4x4 roads are moderately technical and are fun on an ebike.
NOTE: The area between Tusher Canyon on the west and Seven Mile Rim on the east is the most sandy and the roads within it are not recommended. If your worried about sand stick to the eastern side of this route along Seven Mile Rim.
