The Sherwood Trail is mainly a fire road with some sections of significant exposure as it climbs into the rocky sections of the upper Loch Raven area. Unlike the heavily travelled areas to the south, the Sherwood trail is quiet and removed. The northernmost sections feel especially remote

Access Info

There is a parking area on Warren Road. The trail starts at a small stream fording. The west end of the trail is accessible via several singletracks off of Montvieu Court.

Overgrown with logs down. Very little bike traffic and it’s mot very clear towards the end where the trail continues.
