This is the part of the trail that traverses the hillside of the basin. Mostly narrow singletrack with a few sandy and wood chip sections that can make it loose. A few steep switchbacks and a wooden A-Frame in the trees make it one of the more interesting trails in the basin.

Should be renamed shot weeds. Tons of weeds encroaching on trails. Better riding in the mountains

I picked up 5+ goat head thorns on this trail. Flatted both tires. Fortunately there is a bike repair station with a pump nearby along the Murdock Canal Trail. And a fairly short walk to Infinite Cycles.

I rode this trail for the first time on Saturday. It's really well maintained, clean and super pretty down by he river. However, the switchbacks were all really tight for my bike (XL), and the “difficulty” labels stated on the trail map were definitely not accurate. One of the trails was labeled as a black diamond, but id give it a blue at best. I think itd be the perfect trail for young, new riders (with smaller bikes), but its probably not the trail for me.
