The Sidewalk Trail was built as a beginner trail just to the north of the Cache Creek Road. It is meant to allow people to bypass the road especially during the evening hours when the Bar T 5 chuckwagon is bringing their wagons up to their dinner camp. It climbs at a 5% grade from the USFS boundary past the Cache Creek Trailhead up to Bridge 3 on Cache Creek.
