This trail is open to motorcycle, hiker, bicycle and horse use.

Silver Creek is a motorized trail that is well maintained and sees very little use. Great out and back trail with a moderate climb and a fast, flowy singletrack descent. Drains really well and can be ridden in all weather conditions.

Located near Bear Prairie, the Silver Creek Trail begins on Forest Road 5240.015 and proceeds generally southwest on an easy grade through an old-growth forest until ending on Forest Road 84.

This trail is cut by road crossings with Forest Road 5222.016, within the first sections of the trail. Bear Prairie is a meadow at the headwaters of Skate Creek. This was the location of a Ranger Station in 1906. This station was seasonally occupied until Skate Creek Road was built in 1947.

Everything was riding well, still one tree remaining down over the trail toward the top. Other than that it was fun and fast!
