This connector is a closed road, 3N86, which is also designated part of Silver Moccasin Trail 11W06. It is doubletrack.

It connects from the Chilao area to Charlton Loop Road 3N16. It has a primitive feel, running through a scenic backcountry canyon and crossing a small stream. Heading north to south, there is a short climb, then a flat section, and then a longer steeper climb under some big trees that is partially paved.

Access Info

This connector can form a loop using Mt Mooney Fire Road. Or can be used as part of a point to point ride on Silver Moccasin Trail.
