This segment of trail is from Pot Creek Saddle south to the South Fork of Bear Canyon Trail. The trail is on steep side slopes, can have narrow tread in spots, and some short steep grades. This high elevation trail is probably only accessable from July into September due to snow. The trail segment is actually in Custer County but is closer to Ketchum for access. There are excellent mountain views from this trail.
