Mostly downhill, fast and fun, with some rocks thrown in here and there.

This section is really fun as a downhill, but also goes just fine as an uphill. Keep in mind if you ride down, you get closer and closer to the trail head, and you'll see more people.

Great time to ride this trail due to the shutdowns. Minimal hikers and bikers for Sedona in April.

Nice steady climb. Perfect connection to Hiline.

I love this trail. I think it is overlooked because it is "just the way to Hiline" but it stands alone as a good welcome to twisty goodness in both directions. Getting a bit blasted and widened in spots from the sheer volume of users but still great.

Super fun rip in the indicated direction (Yavapai Point >> HWY179) with nice flow especially towards the end. More of a 'blue' trail IMHO.

Fun as always. Definitely more of a green trail

Not a green, that’s called sandbagging, but not a black either. Better to run the whole thing south to north and drop the cool wash section.

Not a green (beginner) trail, that’s called sandbagging, but not quite a black diamond either. Much better to run it S to N imo, makes the wash section really fun.

There are two sections of Slim Shady, not sure why they're separated on TrailForks. This part is better ridden as a down since it's got some fast, flowy sections. But it can definitely be ridden as an up, too. I would say it's more of a blue than a black. I wrote up a blog post about the 8 best trails in Sedona (in my opinion) and Slim Shady is one of them twowheeledwanderer.com/posts/my-eight-favorite-mountain-bike-trails-in-sedona-arizona
