Some of the most fun to be had in 1 minute and 30 seconds while in Laie. This downhill is steep and loose. The trail is carpeted 100% in pine needles and pine cones that act like ball bearings. There are several sections where your brakes are pretty useless and you have to 'commit'. Towards the bottom you get the added bonus of big roots hiding under the pine needle loam Once you get to the bottom is can be ugly muddy if it's been raining recently. If not, enjoy lilikoi at the water crossing.
