This GPS track goes the opposite direction I was biking, but either way this section is pretty fun.
I was headed uphill, and the track is pretty smooth and would be really fun as a downhill.
I would imagine you can loop this as a downhill by biking up FR 437 to FR 445, then hopping left onto the trail and riding back to Garcia Park. If you go this way, don't fly to fast off the whoops down towards the bottom.
I started at Garcia Park and headed down FR 437 for 100 yards or so before breaking off right into the field.
After a mile or so of climbing you hit a nice field to take a break in before the last bit of sustained climbing.
Then push on for another 1.5 miles to get to a fun downhill.
If you break off right when you hit the last field, you get a nice hilltop with views, when you've caught your breath, head left again to get back on the main trail and get ready for some fast straight pedaling across the hill.
See South Boundary Section 2 for the rest of the ride in this direction.
