South Burma starts with a quick climb out of Buick meadow. Once you reach the first bench the party starts to go downhill in a meaningful way. This is a fast descent through redwoods and the terrain is rocky and rooty with sections of smoothed out trail. Some jumps, but mostly just fast fun turns and Annadel rocks.

I would not call this trail "downhill primarily" - it is a popular climb as well as descent.
