Primitive and scenic with an narrow corridor. A mix of forest, meadow, and bench-cut singletrack deep into the backcountry. There is a foot bridge just below the confluence with Brush Creek but expect to ford the creek near Crooked Fork. Above the 004b junction, the trail becomes a little faint in places but worth the effort to ride the upper basin.
This trail is multi-use and is popular with hunters and equestrians, especially in the fall. Be cautious and courteous.
