This trail goes down to the Snow Peak Cabin. Fun steep rocky descent but climbing back is difficult.

 This is a good way to add some distance to the Sherman Peak Loop. It is a bit harder than the rest of the loop, so keep that in mind. There are some good views once you crest the ridge. The steep sections below the Loop intersection are in pretty rough shape. They would hold up better if they weren't quite so steep. The section heading over to the cabin from the ridge is a nice section of trail (minus the steep drop to the cabin).
