South of Heaven provides a unique downhill experience. This trail has a number of mandatory rock features. Walking around these features is not pleasant. This trail earns its difficulty rating. Expect rock drops, steeper slabs, step ups and steep pedal catching notches. Not for the faint of heart.

Parking at the FS-173/Log Porch Rd. location makes sense if you plan to include this trail in your loop. It is possible to shuttle this trail. This trail can be included in larger loops originating from other trail heads.

       Do this after Bone Collector, cross the forest road to Cookie Lady and it will take you right back to the car. Some intense features, but definitely not boring!!
