       Mostly Rock Garden throughout
Has potential to be great especially in switchbacks but needs a lot of help.
I don't want all rocks removed but at least half with a pickaxe and some time

Yea, regrettably that's the trails out there. I'm gonna try to build a good flow run without any rocks with some friends in a couple of weeks, but that'll take a while.

I just moved up to WIngfield....Would like to get involved in some trial work on this stuff. Anything in the works? Need a hand on a pet project?

Almost too rocky to be enjoyable. Bummer that these are the trails by where I live. Everything on the ridge, and west side of that mountain is almost exclusively a trailbed made of rocks. The trail would have potential, but removing that amount of rocks is such a daunting task.

I hadn’t been on this trail in a decade...now I remember why. Just not much fun...not hard once you top out the Zipper, but simply not fun. Not the least bit of flow...almost constant peddling and no reward for it. Rocky and half of the singletrack is just really old doubletrack. I suppose if this was my neighborhood, I might hit it occasionally for convenience but way better riding is closer.

hey there, just getting into the sport. I live around here, just moved to Sparks from Vegas within the last year, where is the "way better riding is closer" you mention? So far I've done Foul Ball which is right behind my house. Too many shooters so I haven't made it out any farther. Thanks!

Hi...I suppose I should've been more clear. I should've said "closer to me." I live in northwest Reno, so the many awesome miles of Peavine are right here, and Golden Eagle park is so far out there for me that i could get to Truckee in the same time.
