Watch for soggy sections where frost is still coming out, especially in the trees. Open areas with southern/western exposures are riding great!...

The road was barricaded and signed "closed for construction" where the pavement turned to gravel. We chose to go back to Invermere and ride there.

Aggressive cougar spotted in area - best to give it a week or so to go on his (or her) merry way.

Not double track all the way, there's a section of blue single track around the inlet.

The first few kilometres are a decent gravel road. Don't be fooled by the first 2 park signs as the real parking lot is the third set of signs with park outhouses and trail signs. If you park before this point parking is in the pullouts on the side of the road and the big hill and elevation is between you and the start of the single fun trails. The single trails are great but we're closed due to bears and fire hazard.
