Stanley Park has lots of large wide gravel trails, but if you’re looking for some single track there are a few routes. There are a ton of single track foot trails through the wooded interior of the park, I’ve spent hours exploring them. The mass majority go nowhere, die out or are impassable by bike.

This route is probly the best trail in the park and riding it North to south is almost all downhill. The first section is flat but has a bunch of wood obstacles built up.

Access Info

From Prospect Point, take the “Bridal path” gravel trail, take a ride when you reach “Rawlings Trail”, then a left onto “Thompson Trail. About 100m down “Thompson” Trail you will see a trail going off to the right.

The trails are currently saturated and shouldn't be ridden until they've had a chance to dry out. I would encourage all riders to have a look back...

reporter Very muddy at the moment. These trails take a really long time to dry out. Best to avoid until we get a significant dry stretch.

A reminder now that the wet weather is here: this trail runs through a flat area, doesn't drain well, and can't support much traffic in the...

I just moved downtown and found this trail. Does anyone actively maintain it? Would anyone have any objections if I started to maintain this trail?

Does anyone know who built it?

The trail has been there for a long time... I rode part of it today with my brother and it was not in great shape. You totally should start maintaining it, I'd be happy to help out.

I actually love it there. Sometimes I don't feel like driving over the bridge to the Shore, so this is great quickie after work. There are tons of trails, you just need to explore... Smile
