Starz Line 1 was built 9 years ago and starts at Bert Flinn Loop and ends at the off leash area above April Road - it is the entire trail. Line 2 was added the following year and Line 3, the year after that. 2 & 3 feed back onto Line 1. The Starz loops were built by JK, JJ & GR and were name after my German Shepherd "Star" who was with us during the entire build process - she also ran alongside me through all these loops hundreds of times. Starz is a great intermediate, developmental mtb trail, with some fun TTFs and some great flow sections. It is well-maintained by JK & JJ and is good pretty-much all year-round (use common sense in extreme wet). North Starz was started ~5 years ago by JJ & JK and is a flowy intermediate XC-type trail on the Anmore/Port Moody border with no TTFs - just 3 water crossings - it adds a nice start and finish to the Starz loops and feeds onto the Gasline and the main Bert Flinn loop.
