Moto Trail that connects the top of Smith Ravine Trail to the Seven Mile Gulch moto trail system. This Trail is recommended for downhill usage due to some steep sections. There are a few rock/tech sections, but the difficulty is mostly due to the steepness. The upper section is easy to follow, but after a final steep downhill into the creek valley, there are other nearby motot trails that can be misleading. About midway down there will be an intersection to go straight or go right across a creek. Go right. After that you will be on a trail that is parallel to another trail in the same valley, about 20ft away on the same side of the valley (within view at most times). Because this is an unsanctioned trail, down trees are highly likely, and the parallel trail might be more clear. The parallel trail is on your right side. At the end of this trail, take a left turn to get onto the Backbone Moto Trail.

Access Info

Accessible at the Upper Smith Ravine Trailhead. Once you get over the metal fence gate, go up the hill straight for about 30ft. This section is somewhat hard to find, but it intersects with the clearly defined moto trail.

This trail is unsanctioned.
