Open South Downs bridleway with views to the ease and south. Section from start around east side of Steep Down is very muddy and slippery in winter. Downhill section past Lancing Clump is better surfaced and drains well. Look out for cars emerging from properties on the tarmac section. Last section past Lancing College is narrower and can be muddy and slippery when wet. Restricting gateway on entering Lancing College access road.
