This is a difficult climb with some root fragments and tight through the trees and overgrowth. It is a challenge that enables you to connect to the newer section of 9K and to access the downhill goodness that is Black Forest. Challenge your riding buddies to a cheese burger to clean this as a climb, the switch backs are very tight and slippery, but decent riders will clean all 8 heading Southbound.
This was originally the climbing portion of Black Forest, but got renamed after the 9k Trail was put in.

Way to add some ST right off of Fat Lip to avoid that annoying road!

Stumbled on this today and loved this climb as an alternative to the road back to 9K! Now that’s good trail planning and building!
