A steep, technical trail in an incredible setting, you’ll wonder why you’ve never been here before. Climbability depends on the amount of loose rock strewn about, the motos can make things better or worse at times. Coming down everything can be ridden at moderate speed, the faster you go the sketchier it gets. Some tough switchbacks. High speed rollers exist in the bottom two miles.
Combine with Hyalite in either direction with a LONG shuttle, or just do it as an out and back. I recommend Hyalite to Storm, leave car at the very bottom of Storm Castle Road.
The Hyalite trail 427 is a timeshare trail between the dates of 7/16 and 9/4 with bikes allowed Sunday - Thursday and no wheels on Fridays or Saturdays.

90% rideable on the way up, the motos have kicked a lot of rocks aside making for a pretty smooth line. Moderately flowy but rocky on the way down.

      Aug 7, 2021
All clear of trees, some blown out switchbacks from recent moto use.

About half way up there is large amount of avalanche slide debris blocking the trail.
