This trail is for masochists who want to try a loop that includes Wheeler Gulch and Upper Cottonwood (or Mica Ridge and Telephone Ridge from the Storm Castle side). A lot of really steep hike a bike up and down, and much of it burned in a big fire several years ago so there's some deadfall. The trail is hard to find in places. Great views of Alex Lowe Peak and Mount Blackmore.

Some trees but very narrow trail and soft shoulder as well.

Mostly dry, there are numerous creek crossings, and the motorcycles made a much deeper/wider extent to this than might be the case otherwise.
