Strawberry Hill SIngletrack is one of the most fun technical singletrack trails at Hale. It links Noannet in the West to Hale in the East. While this trail can be done in both directions, the most popular seems to be from West to East. It is a technical trail that makes the best use possible of the many fun rock formations in the area and there are many steep rock rolls and descents, both ways. There are many short and punchy technical climbs, whichever way you go. Starting from the Noannet side, the first few hundred yards are a somewhat tough climb, but from there it undulates mostly downhill to the East, interspersed by a number of tech climbs.

Access Info

In the West, Strawberry Hill Singletrack starts on the East West Firelane, near the intersection with Strawberry Hill. Look carefully for the start of the trail - it is somewhat hidden in a rocky outcrop to the left of the Firelane. Just after the rocky outcrop, Blueberry connector turns off to the left. At the other or lower end, Strawberry Hill Singletrack ends back on the East West Firelane, right near Powisett Pond.
