This is the trail to the viewpoint at the top of the Strawberry Island hill. This is essentially a gravel road when coming from the west side. It can get steep in a few places but the view from the top of the hill is pretty good. The east end where I normally descend is more of a double track. Watch for the slightly eroded areas on the descent which can make for some interesting bumps along the way if they sneak up on you. Once again this trail can be combined with others in the area for some interesting and varied loops with everything from paved roads and bike paths to narrow winding singletrack through trees and decent sized boulders. You are in the Columbia River Gorge and odds are it will be windy so be prepared especially if it's cooler out.
