Amazing trail with a rough, steep and occasionally rocky upper section followed by a smooth, fast and flowy lower.
This trail is mostly smooth until you get to the saddle. There are probably 12 water bars that make perfect senders on the lower third. The climb is pretty much easy but pretty steep. Even the switchbacks are steep at the turns and you gain a lot of elevation fast. This makes for a fast and fun downhill with a lot of air-out spots.

This trail is amazing. The uphill is rough but mostly covered. The downhill has some of the most fun and easiest to land jumps I have ever ridden.

Big tree across the alternate line on the left (downhill oriented) before the rocky switchbacks.

Fantastic trail. We rode this as a loop so we only came down Stump Hollow. Fast, fun, good dirt and zero tech. Fun as hell and super duper fast. So good we rode it two days in a row. Destination worthy decent, no joke

Coming from the perspective of a 50+ year old woman who’s a fairly strong climber who rides the Wasatch back a lot, this climb was pretty tough due to it’s steepness. It got steeper the higher you went, but the views plus the fast and flowy flat section out to the Sinks made it worth it. This is the kind of ride that’s worth taking snacks and extra water and making it a multi-hour scenic ride. The trail is heavily shaded most of the way, so choose an appropriate lens especially for the descent.
