Suicide Creek Trail is a 50+ year old trail lasso-shaped trail. Wandering single track loam with a few ups and downs. Ridden mostly in a counter clockwise direction, there is one punchy climb at the back end. A few roots in this trail; it has been a staple in all 10 years of the BC Bike Race.

When wet, this trail can become slippery with exposed routes, but this trail is rideable 365 due to significant work by the local Chain Gang for drainage and water over-passes etc.

Pack some water - enjoy
Green/Blue trail: Beware for beginners: it is a longer trail.

More of a cross-country trail. Usually recommended for the lush forest scenery reminiscent of some of the Lord of the Rings movie sets.

This was a fun trail, especially for a new rider. Very rooty in areas but not particularly steep. We followed the pink flagged route from BC bike race course. Absolutely gorgeous forest.

Fun trail with some flow at the end. Should really be classified as a green though!

Suicide is a Blue trail based on IMBA standards: length of trail is one primary factor. Also comparative to other trails in community for consistency is another reason to keep it rated as a blue trail.
      Thanks for input!!

We rode it in the uphill direction. Challenging trail for new riders what with the many roots. A couple of tough climbs. Beautiful trail and good for building skills.
