A new trail being "built" using old animal paths leading up to the Gamleskogen trail. It starts off on an old tractor road which is partly overgrown, and heads off on a trail you can hardly see - but then it gets better, and the animal tracks are fairly easy to follow. The trail will get better with use - so go on and use it We mainly want to use this as our access to the top of Gamleskogen, as the entry from Larsrud is almost impossible to climb.

Access Info

From Kølabånn head back down the gravel road towards Thoreid - almost at the bottom of the first descent you will find the entrance to an old tractor road, head in there and follow it up the first little kicker. Then instead of following the tractor road you take off on a deer trail to the right - and up a somewhat tricky incline. From there the trail gets a bit easier to follow.

This trail is still a work in progress as we are trying to improve on the natural deer track and make a fully rideable trail.
