The Swift Creek Ski trail is a very popular snow route that ascends from Marble Mountain snopark up to the treeline. It is used by climbers and backcountry skiers to access the Worm Flows climbing route as well as snow shoers and nordic skiers accessing the lower elevation ski trails around here. This is the family friendly part of the mountain, and backcountry skiers and split boarders will need to be aware that they will encounter a lot of users of all ability levels and modes of travel. Marble Mountain is a relatively low elevation snopark and so users should expect to encounter bare dirt surface near the snopark for most of the year. The snow is generally hardpack and can often be traversed with little more than microspikes on regular hiking boots. Some type of traction device for your shoes is recommended.
