A route around the muddy spots in the early spring. Once over the cattle gate head left at 45° from the gate (ie not sharp right or sharp left) up to the Fairy Creek Trail. Then sharp right on the trail and ride for about 50 metres until you hit the obvious double track on your left. Head up here for about 200 metres. You'll see a pond on your right and immediately after it a stone cairn (assuming some clown hasn't removed it again) and a trail on the right, go down here to immediately hook back into Swine above the muddy area.
