The T3 track (Technical Torture Trail) links the top of Vertigo and the top of Trickle Falls. The track is two-way and is designed to be grade 4 technical downhill and a grade 5 technical uphill. The track contains a number of man-made and natural obstacles, including a new rock garden.The track has been designed and built to enable riders to hone their skills and attack with the attitude of "I'll clear it this time".

Built by Murray Drake, Jonathan Kennett and Makara Peak volunteers 2007-2009 .

       Great fun! Worth riding just for the giant trail monster that lies on the track for you to ride along! Super technical but nothing scary.

       I'm gutted to read this may be 'converted' to a G3 uphill - another of the gems of Makara falling!! Personally, I felt it worked so well with Vertigo it was like getting 2 for 1.

      Now it's just deliverance, trickles and live wires for proper technical tracks (excluding year gnar - it's not something I've tried).
