Mellow rolling trail, good for beginners. first out of the gate from the Waipa carpark. The name 'Tahi' is the Maori word for 'One'.
Part 1 ends on a skid site and a sharp right entrance to Creek.
Part 2: head down forest road to Baker's Hollow (see photo 2) and veer left just past the gorse bush and you will see an entrance into singletrack to link up to The Dipper.
Or
Part 3: turn left at The Dipper sign at the end of part 2 and drop out onto a forest road with a small clearing ad a seat. Tahi continues across this road and loops and weaves it's way through flat forest terrain, highlighted by a tand of Redwoods.
This will take you back to Pohaturoa Road. Turn left back to the car park or into Rosebank across the road or right to Nursery Road and the entrance to The Dipper.
