A short uphill section that bypasses part of Tahi. The trail is a short, easy climb through trees, with a just a few roots. It is a more direct route to the clearing at the end than the Tahi loop it bypasses, and this makes it more suited to families and kids.

It's a good challenge for young riders, and pops out at a clearing with a bench where they can get their breath back before attacking the next trail
