One of the feature trails of the Bloody Shins. The Giant starts with an easy roll in and a rock hop up if you choose. Then it starts off with a drop between two rocks and technical sidehill with switchbacks and a steep downhill before you climb through two large rocks. It is very rewarding to make a clean pass through this trail. Very technical, not for beginners, there are ways to bypass the harder parts.

Definitely the most technical section in the Bloody Shins Trails System. It’s challenging, but rewarding when you clean it. Most riders take the Giant’s Slalom intermediate trail section off the side of the mountain and into the wash. Up until then the trail is a blue, after that point it does get significantly more technical.
