This is a hilly and fast multi-use green limestone covered trail with very diverse views of the gorge, the Bogue Chitto river, high hilly areas, and some interesting lowlands areas with cypress trees and swampy areas.

For a fast descending ride, start by the cabins and bear right to stay on the high side (left side) of the park and ride until you get to the bus parked in the small parking lot near the group camp. Continue on the right side of the loop (the lower side by the river) to make the entire 5 mile loop. After a certain point you will ride on the road for a ways north (to avoid the sandy section by the beach/ river) to get back to the trail and ultimately get back to the MTB parking lot. The two MTB trails and the Gorge Run loop are almost 10miles combined, so two laps of all three loops would be about 18 miles. Rollout and enjoy!!!
