This is the Uphill trail which connects the ski hill area to Rosie Boa and Freund. Plenty of parking at Ski hill for you and all of your friends The sign at the bottom says "Snowshoe Trail". For bikers, this trail is only an ascent trail that spits you out about 3/4 way up Rosy Boa. At the junction, you can go right and descend Rosy or straight to the Freund Canyon Trail.

This trail is brand new. It is connected as of 9/1/17. Upper part is very dry and loose. Last mile still has some finishing touch's that need to be done. Enjoy!

if this trail is open, why is trail status still showing as Red!? "Closed or major issue"

This trail is no longer new - time to give it a real name!

It's totally ripping right now, stiff and crusty trail.

This trail is only 1,016 ft vertical from the bottom where you park. Both me and my husbands garmins can confirm that. I don’t know where their extra 700 ft is coming from. Maybe they levitate at the top bench??? Who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I believe what we are seeing is the difference between vertical feet between the start and finish as measured on a map (I got 860 vertical feet) and the actual amount of climbing that includes all the little ups and downs on a given trail as it follows the terrain. Interesting observation!

There is definitely not 785' of descending on this trail - more like 70'. I can confirm that the climb is just over 1000' total.

Really well made uphill climb. Did some pushing just because it was hard but whole thing is ridable. For what it's worth Strava showed 1700 feet of gain taking this up and rosy boa down.

Well built trail. A little punchy in places, but all rideable. Definitely a good workout when you are out of shape like me
