the Steepening is a work in progress and now continues to the bottom of the valley, at the creek, where the Classic ends as well.

 hey flowgnar,
thinking of making the long drive west from new paltz tomorrow to ride this trail. What are the features like? The description mentions jumps and drops. Thanks.

All of the trails have a variety of features some of the drops range up to 10-12 feet tho are typically 3-7 feet - jumps are a mix of gap and non gap up to about 15 foot distance. Steepening and Rocky Horror have extended rock garden sections as well as 3-6 foot drops. Access is a straightforward climb up a road with all the trails beginning on the summit - Nurse, Rocky Horror, and the Steepening have been raked. Most features are marked and nothing should sneak up on you - you could ride a trail or dh bike. Lots of photos and videos on the FB group B.A.M.B.I. from this summer's race, Terror at the Terra. Enjoy! We often session Innsbruck on weekends so message me if you are around.

The Steepening is now a complete top to bottom trail and in great shape - ready to race!
