The Telegraph line starts at the Miners Track intersection and follows the overhead telegraph lines North. The 3 hills you will face on this ride are difficult due to length and steepness, not technical ability.

There are three tracks you can take at the start. The middle one turns into deep sand about three-quarters of the way down that buried my front wheel and sent me over the handlebars, so I would recommend either the left or right-hand side. The first hill is steep and hard. It may be wet at the bottom due to runoff or if it has been recently raining. It flattens out near the top and then hits another uphill section that will get your heart racing.

The second hill is VERY steep. Get as much speed as you can on the downhill before you attempt it.

The third hill has a left and right trail. I suggest the right as you get a break halfway up, but it's like one of those hills that never seems to end. The left-hand trail is very cut up and VERY steep.

Once you turn off the Telegraph line it's an easy run down to the main road, then follow the road back into Mallacoota.

If you want, you can start the Charlie's Creek Trail and continue into Mallacoota for a longer ride.

Note if it has been raining, the hills will very unridable.
