Turning off from Teddy Bear's Picnic, this trail leads down along the edge of the lower woodland snaking right over dense tree roots and technical drops before coming out alongside Mirror Lake. The trail then climbs up a very steep series of technical and extremely challenging switchbacks and tight undergrowth before a sudden ending with a steep drop into the final stretch of The Awakening.
Ride down Teddy Bear's Picnic and take a left down a wide open rutted trail through open heathland and heather and as it turns right at the bottom, continue straight off the main path toward the woods on the narrow single track.
West Sussex County Council (WSCC) must ensure that the SSSI and habitat within 200 metres of the SSSI boundary is protected from what are known as Potentially Damaging Operations (PDO).
