Steep climb on a gravel road to a lookout at the top. Was an old fire tower. There is a seat at the top for a rest. You have views out to the ocean at Crescent Head, farmlands around Kempsey and mountains to the west. Climb is hard, usually rocky and slippery. You need decent fitness to get to the top without walking. Descent is slippery and road is used by cars so take it easy around the left hand blind corner about halfway down.
