This track was named after the Kennett Brothers - Simon, Paul and Jonathan who have contributed so much to Makara Peak and mountain biking in general. It's made up of three parts, and traverses from the end of Sally Alley over to the main grade 3 descending tracks (Smokin and SWIGG) which takes riders back to the main entrance on South Karori Road.

In April 2020 Three Brothers Part 1 was reversed in direction when Sally Alley was closed due to a massive slip. This is to enable riders to easily get from Snake Charmer down to Upswing or on down to Missing Link.
